LIFE

Life is so full of uncertainty,
Yet we plan in expectation.
Overpowered by our own vanity,
We fail to see our destination.

Ah! But if we could see ahead,
Life would be void of interest.
Though at times its filled with dread,
It has its share of joy and zest

A constant challenge we'll face,
If newer quests we are to gain.
And should we fail thus no disgrace,
We must rise to fight again.

So lest we fail to see the purpose
For which to this humble Earth we're lent
Think within thyself- repose
Life could be peace and content.

When from this Earth we must pass on
As see as its the Good God's tend.
We'll climb into a newer dawn,
Into a life that will never end.
